Williams Pipeline Environmental Consulting

The Williams Company (http://thewilliamscompanyseattle.com/)
Western Washington

A gas pipeline company was able to complete its summer construction schedule on 150 miles of new line through Western Washington without delay because of assistance from Watershed Company scientists. The firm has provided on-site environmental consulting services for major gas pipeline construction by The Williams Company since 2002. Work has included wetland delineation and characterization, electrofishing and fish relocation, stream and wetland crossing monitoring, and water quality monitoring.  Crews of skilled biologists have been assembled quickly to provide services on a round-the-clock basis at multiple locations. Staff biologists with expertise in fish and wetlands were dispatched to sites over 100 miles from our office within hours to insure project quality. By providing these highly responsive and adaptable services, we were able to help prevent costly construction delays, protect resources, and ensure that State and federal regulations were met.
