Multiuse buildings are set around a lush central courtyard that boasts a robust urban ecosystem featuring reclaimed water, habitat snags, boulders, and a diverse array of plants from native perennial wildflowers to mature canopy trees. Beyond the guests and residents who enjoy this tranquil space, the landscape serves urban wildlife like songbirds, butterflies, and bees.
On the roof decks, green roof gardens offer terrestrial views toward the Olympic Mountains while capturing and filtering rainwater. Community garden plots serve residents and the on-site restaurant. Two large cisterns store rainwater for irrigating the urban gardens.
