Nell lund, PWS

SENIOR Ecologist

Nell is a senior ecologist and project manager who specializes in critical areas assessment and mitigation planning. Nell applies her broad knowledge of Washington’s wetlands and streams to help residential landowners, public agencies, and school districts comply with regulatory requirements and understand how to incorporate critical areas as valued assets. She frequently works with DCG/Watershed’s planning department in support of critical area ordinance (CAO) and Shoreline Master Program (SMP) updates, providing field assessment and documentation to verify report findings and demonstrate environmental consequences of proposed code changes.

Outside of DCG/Watershed
Nell enjoys Seattle metropolitan parks and amenities with her family. Hiking on regional trails is a treat, especially after going through the brush at work.
