Improving Fish Passage and Removing Culverts Since 1982

Improving water quality and fish passage in Washington's rivers and streams is one of our founding tenets and a main focus of our work today.

Whether it’s replacing an impassable culvert to improve fish migration or restoring a major river or wetland, our staff can help with every stage of your project—from conceptual planning and feasibility to specifications and cost estimates through construction and performance monitoring.

For construction projects requiring in-water work, our fisheries biologists perform electrofishing and other fish removal services, as well as conduct electrofishing studies to determine fish presence for planning efforts.
