LARS FREEMAN-WOOD

ISA CERTIFIED ARBORIST

Lars is a Certified Arborist with a background in utility management, tree risk assessment and residential tree care. He strongly emphasizes the sustainable and safe care of trees and the landscape to best serve their natural functions, balanced with development needs. Prior to joining DCG/Watershed, Lars worked as a Project Manager for Western Environmental Consulting Inc., managing utility line clearance work; at a non-profit nursery employing adults with developmental disabilities, volunteered on the Campfire Restoration Project implementing permaculture techniques to help restore Paradise, Ca, which was devastated by the Camp Fire; and as Sales Project Manager for a local tree trimming service in Washington.

Outside of DCG/Watershed
In his free time, you can find Lars whitewater kayaking the many wonderful rivers of the Pacific Northwest, and hiking or mountain biking.  He also enjoys volunteering in meaningful programs such as river clean-ups and trail maintenance projects.
