Greg Johnston, Senior Fisheries Biologist

Greg is Certified as a Fisheries Professional (CFP) and understands that it’s all about restoring habitat function if we’re going to recover salmon stocks. He jumps into stream restoration projects with both feet, putting together the right assemblage of habitat features to get his project areas producing up to snuff again. To maintain a broader perspective, Greg serves on the Stillaguamish Watershed Council’s Technical Advisory in his home basin, where he helps decide how to best improve habitat limiting factors for salmon. At Watershed since 1987, Greg also works as a hobby farmer on his acreage near Arlington.
