Mike is an environmental scientist with expertise in aquatic ecology, riparian ecology, and habitat restoration. He works on a variety of planning and natural resources projects involving critical areas, shoreline master plans, biological assessments, and restoration/mitigation. Prior to joining Watershed, Mike worked for King County as an environmental scientist supporting a variety of salmon recovery efforts and researching best available science for the County’s Farm Fish Flood effort.
Outside of Watershed
Mike loves food and spends a lot of his time finding new restaurants, trying new foods, and cooking. When he is not eating, he enjoys being outdoors hiking, fly fishing, backpacking, canoeing, snowboarding, and doing landscape photography.
