Landscape Architect, ISA CERTIFIED ARBORIST®
Lucas is a passionate landscape architect and arborist with a background in science-based design for schools, parks, trails, and shoreline residences. Fascinated with the interplay between the natural and built environment, Lucas believes every project has unique potential to achieve economic, sustainability, and social success. As a landscape architect, Lucas focuses on the development and documentation of public and private sector projects from schematic design through construction documentation and administration. As a Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ) arborist at Watershed, Lucas helps both private and public clients navigate tree regulatory requirements and provides recommendations to help urban trees thrive.
Outside of Watershed When not in the office, Lucas volunteers with the Washington Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects as the Chair of the Public Relations and Awareness committee. Lucas can be found most weekends exploring new Northwest destinations via cycling, rock climbing, and mountaineering. Mt Rainier, Adams, Baker, Hood, St. Helen’s, and Olympus have all welcomed Lucas to their summit.
