GIS ANalyst, CAD Technician
Amanda is an environmental scientist and geospatial specialist who provides clients with engaging and technically accurate materials and maps using GIS and AutoCAD. She frequently works with Watershed's planning department on shoreline master programs (SMP) and creates maps in support of wetland delineations, tree inventories, as well as habitat and vegetation analyses. She also creates user friendly web map applications for clients to use in the field or to display on their website.
Outside of Watershed In addition to her GIS work at Watershed, Amanda assists in the University of Washington’s GIS certification program. In her free time she enjoys gardening, walks with her dog, and traveling. She regularly visits family in Montana but tries to visit a new place at least once a year - this year it was the Redwoods (CA) and Cancun (MX). She is taking suggestions for next year’s travel destinations.
