Description

The Watershed Company's excellent work on Narbeck led the Snohomish County Airport to hire us for additional projects, including:

Western Wetlands Assessment:

Teams of biologists from The Watershed Company conducted wetland and stream assessment and delineation of 55 separate wetlands on approximately 500 acres of Airport-owned land. Extensive agency coordination and documentation of isolated/adjacent wetland status was needed in support of a Jurisdictional Determination for both the Corps and EPA. The massive effort went smoothly and has led to local, State and Federal permitting for related projects for the airport and airport tenants.

Master Drainage Plan Evaluation:

The Watershed Company evaluated potential effects of stormwater discharge on vegetation assemblages and native amphibians in Wetland 25. We successfully demonstrated to Snohomish County PDS that the project as designed would not pose significant adverse effects.

Taxilane Kilo North Project at Snohomish County Airport:

Similar to the analysis for the Master Drainage Plan, The Watershed Company successfully documented that the proposed project would not result in significant adverse impacts to vegetation and amphibians in Wetland 6.
