If you’ve been told that you may have wetlands or streams on your site, The Watershed Company can help. Accurate assessment of sensitive areas is critical to project success, whether you are considering purchase of a residential lot or building a new shopping center.
Our Process
Our trained biologists will begin by talking with you about your property and future plans to determine your needs. A reconnaissance is a quick site review; a delineation is a more in-depth study of site conditions. We will then prepare a free proposal outlining the work you need to meet requirements and the cost.
If you accept our proposal, we will research existing records for your property and then visit your site to determine whether it has sensitive areas, and if so, what the boundaries are. A concise written report will be prepared to help you make site decisions and for use with permit requirements. The report will include a sketch of stream and/or wetland boundaries and a discussion of possible impacts like required setbacks or buffers.
