Williams Gas Pipeline Fisheries and Water Quality Monitoring

Watershed Company staff has provided on-site environmental consulting services for major gas pipeline construction by The Williams Company in Washington State since 2002. Work on more than 150 miles of pipeline has included electrofishing and fish relocation, stream and wetland crossing monitoring, wetland delineation and classification, and water quality monitoring. Crews of skilled biologists were mustered quickly to provide services on a round-the-clock basis. By providing these highly responsive and adaptable services, we were able to prevent costly construction delays, protect resources, and ensure that state and federal regulations were met.
