Sammamish River Educational Outreach

As the City of Bothell continues to grow, the Department of Public Works, in conjunction with the Washington Department of Ecology, felt it would be imperative to send a message of environmental protection and stewardship to its citizens.

Ideas developed into action: 14 graphically modern, educational yet edgy, interpretive environmental signs were designed and will be installed along the Sammamish River and North Creek trails by the end of the year.

The signs greet trail users and educate them about the environmental significance of the features they are observing and what they can do to help.
