Bellevue property owners with wetlands, streams, shorelines and steep slopes on their land can consult a handbook created by a team of biologists and landscape architects from The Watershed Company. The handbook outlines a systematic approach for how to enhance or restore a sensitive area site consistent with the City's new critical areas regulations. It includes planting templates for a variety of environmentally sensitive sites, tips for site assessment, plant lists and ideas for invasive weed control.
This very detailed and graphically pleasing 120 page book will be published by City of Bellevue in 2007.
