LOWER ISSAQUAH CREEK HABITAT ENHANCEMENT AND RESTORATION

We helped the City of Issaquah restore in-stream and riparian habitat along approximately 1,200 feet of Issaquah Creek just north of I-90. The project creates additional floodplain and incorporates side and backwater channels that are sure to be well-used by threatened Chinook salmon and other wildlife. Learn More →

Clear Creek Interpretive Trail

The Watershed Company worked with Kitsap County Public Works to design an interpretive plan including 12 wayside exhibits and 6 plant identification plaques to inspire and educate citizens about the Clear Creek Restoration Project and its success.

Darrington Trail

The Washington Department of Natural Resources’ new trail system contained wetlands and mature tree stands. Our inventory, assessment, and regulatory compliant trail design helped showcase the land’s natural beauty while protecting its wetlands and streams.

Salmon Run Nature Park

We led a large design effort to restore fish and wildlife habitat in Issaquah Creek. Located a mile or so below the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, the new 3.7-acre nature park creates a near-natural setting for residents and visitors to observe migrating fish. Learn More →
