Description

The Watershed Company speaks the language of local government. We have served as on-call environmental consultant for a large number of jurisdictions in Western Washington, including the Cities of Renton, Monroe, Kirkland, Shoreline, Sammamish, Woodinville, and Issaquah. On the City's behalf, we review projects submitted by City residents or developers involving wetlands, streams or their buffers. These projects range from conducting and evaluating wetland delineations and critical area studies, to reviews of buffer modification proposals and long-term monitoring of mitigation sites. Staff members assist City planning departments to ensure accuracy of independent studies and compliance with municipal codes.

Bellevue Parks On-Call

The Watershed Company provides on-call permitting services for numerous park improvement projects for the City of Bellevue Parks and Community Services Department. Projects include vegetation removal, trail and bridge construction, and wetland restoration projects. Permitting needs for these projects include local critical area permits and state and federal permits for critical area impacts. The Parks and Community Services Department relies on The Watershed Company to permit these projects in a timely manner to comply with seasonal park demands.
