The Watershed Company permitted a comprehensive redevelopment of the Burke-Gilman Trail through the City of Lake Forest Park. The project required close coordination with King County and the City of Lake Forest Park to vest a complete Conditional Use Permit application prior to a more restrictive CUP ordinance being approved by the City. Permitting also included state and federal permits from the City, the Corps of Engineers, WDFW, and the Department of Ecology to allow areas of wetland fill adjacent to the trail; replacement of an existing bridge over Lyon Creek; and areas of mitigation both along the trail and at an off-site location.
