The Watershed Company designed and rapidly permitted the removal of 180 feet of concrete and rock bulkhead at this waterfront home to create two coved beach areas. Permits from five agencies were granted in a record 90 days and the project began construction one year early. Large granite stones and steps were carefully placed along the shoreline. Upland areas were graded and terraced, taking special care to save all of the existing mature native conifers. The plant palette utilizes mostly Pacific Northwest natives and some ornamentals. The project included an outdoor kitchen, granite fireplace and an outdoor shower made from a sliced basalt column.
