Coinciding with a major remodel of this 1950’s modern waterfront home, a new feature-rich outdoor living space replaces a sloping lawn and drab overgrown beds. The enlarged and reconfigured deck simplified circulation and a new path improved usability by providing barrier-free access to the waterfront. A new custom in-ground spa with a recirculating waterfall feature, visible from the living room, nestles into what was formerly unable space. Spa users will have views of the lake while relaxing in the warm water. A new stone-clad outdoor fireplace doubles as an al fresco dining table. A previously inaccessible beach cove has been transformed into a waterfront patio area with easy access to the lake. Landscape architects carefully selected sun loving and native plantings to provide year round interest and low water usage.
