Description

A Mercer Island couple, whose waterfront home offers inspiring views of Mt. Rainier, wanted to upgrade their landscape planting. Several large trees and shrubs were carefully transplanted to create dramatically different spaces. An all new plant palette was installed on the steep slope. By carefully locating both existing and new plant material, the new garden will provide better year round interest, more diversity, and will enliven existing outdoor spaces with color, fragrance and texture. The design also included a privacy trellis and fence, and a 100% native shoreline planting plan designed to meet federal and state guidelines.
