The Watershed Company landscape architecture team developed four interpretive signs to highlight the City of Redmond’s recently installed Low-Impact Development features. The colorful signs engage park users with graphic and textual explanations of how raingardens function to reduce stormwater runoff, the energy-reduction benefits of green roofs, and why permeable paving is good for water quality and reduces flooding. The team worked closely with the City of Redmond Parks department throughout the design, manufacture and installation of the signs.
