Description

The Watershed Company researched, wrote, illustrated, and designed five interpretive signs for a stormwater retrofit project along Bear Creek in Redmond. Two signs highlighted project elements, including new stormwater wetlands and permeable pavement. Other signs used colorful custom illustrations to explain the ecological functions and importance of riparian areas, floodplains, and stream temperature. Funding was provided by a Department of Ecology grant through the City of Redmond’s Department of Natural Resources.
