Manchester Stormwater Park Featured in Landscape Architecture Magazine

The Watershed Company congratulates Kitsap County and its consultant partners Parametrix, N.L. Olson & Associates, and GeoEngineers for its recent coverage in the September issue of The American Society of Landscape Architect’s Landscape Architecture Magazine. Titled “Double Duty: A Stormwater Retrofit Makes Space for a New Park on Puget Sound,” the article highlights the design methodology behind the new Manchester Stormwater Park, a first-of-its-kind stormwater treatment facility that utilizes green infrastructure and acts as a recreational hub for the community.
Watershed is proud to have contributed interpretive signage, wonderfully manufactured by Turner Exhibits, that illustrates the scientific concepts behind the Park’s green infrastructure designs. Some examples are found below.
