  • Manchester Stormwater Park Featured in Landscape Architecture Magazine

    The Watershed Company congratulates Kitsap County and its consultant partners Parametrix, N.L. Olson & Associates, and GeoEngineers for its recent coverage in the September issue of The American Society of Landscape Architect’s Landscape Architecture Magazine. Titled, “Double Duty: A Stormwater Retorfit Makes Space for a New Park on Puget Sound,” the article highlights the design methodology behind the new Manchester Stormwater Park, a first-of-its-kind stormwater treatment facility that utilizes green infrastructure and acts as a recreational hub for the community. Watershed is proud to have contributed interpretive signage, produced by Turner Exhibits, that illustrates the scientific concepts behind the Park’s green infrastructure designs

  • Welcoming Tess Brandon as Environmental Planner

    Another environmental planner has joined our team — Tess Brandon. Tess came to Watershed after completing Masters degrees in Urban Planning and Marine Affairs at the UW. Interested in the dynamic relationship we have with our shorelines, Tess enjoys projects that deal with urban shoreline development and its effects on the nearshore environment.

  • Bellevue Botanical Garden Visitor Center

    Bellevue Botanical Garden's new visitor center, a $9.46 million LEED Gold structure designed by Olson Kundig Architects, opened June 14, 2014. Siting was made possible with permitting and mitigation by The Watershed Company, which designed a 5500-square-foot created wetland to offset impacts.
